Values = readonly (number | null)[]

The layer that holds only an indicator's math — it knows nothing about points or coordinates, just (number | null)[]. null means "no value" (warmup or a gap). The reason a kernel deals with null directly is indicators built on indicators — MACD's signal runs on top of the macd line (an array with leading nulls).
