SuperTrend — a ratcheting band around (high+low)/2 ± multiplier × ATR. During an uptrend the lower band is the support line (a band never moves down), and once the close breaks it, direction flips to a downtrend and the upper band becomes resistance. There are two branches not for color but for meaning — up is support, down is resistance, and the opposite regime is null, breaking the line The default (10, 3) is the original (Olivier Seban) and TradingView's built-in default.
